You might all remember the blog post I did a couple months ago about the Engage Today event I spoke at in Calgary. Well turns out, my good buddy, Greg Habstritt, has fired up a video clip from my talk and I'd love to share it with all of you.

You can see the video here: http://www.EngageToday2009.com

FYI: You will be asked to enter your email address in order to view the videos but I promise you that Greg's a great guy and you'll also get access to several other awesome videos from the Engage Today event.

I'll try not to spoil it for you but to what you'll see in the video is me addressing the incredible power of vision and how you can use it to overcome any obstacle in your life.

On Stage at Engage Today

How many of you have ever had a dream? A burning desire for something that you wanted more than anything and felt you would stop at nothing to get it?

Then one day you woke up, took a look around and realized that you were nowhere near that vision. Am I right? There's no need to feel ashamed about it, we've all been there more often then we'd like to admit; I know I certainly have.

Look, we all have distractions. We all have obstacles that will get in our way, slow us down, and try to pull us off track. These are nothing more than our B-U-T's trying to suffocate us from our greatness and force us to play small in our lives.

What we often fail to realize is that pain is inevitable. As frustrating as it may seem at the time, there is a purpose to our pain and once we accept that, we free ourselves to control our destiny and live up to our potential.

"Every decision you make - every decision - is not a decision about what to do. It's a decision about Who You Are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do."
- Neale Donald Walsch

So Who are You? What did you come here to do? What impact are you going to make on the human race and how will the planet be different from having known you?

Okay, okay. I realize those are big bold questions but just let your imagination run wild and see what you come up with... I promise you'll be surprised!

Peace & Love,

Sean

P.S. Please leave your comments below and share your vision with me! I'd so love to know -- and just imagine the collective impact we can have when we all awaken to the beauty of our dreams.

Hey guys,

So here is my first bit of REALLY exciting news!

Yup, you guessed it! I have a television show coming out! It's called the "Three Foot Giant" and it's premiering on the BIO Channel on November 15th at 7:00pm and 11:00pm PT/10:00pm ET.

Here is a sneak-peek of what to expect!

Click here to view the embedded video.

The Press-Release:

ONE-HOUR BIO SPECIAL “THREE FOOT GIANT” PROFILES SEAN STEPHENSON

A REMARKABLE MAN WHO AT 3 FEET TALL LIVES A LARGER LIFE THAN MOST

PREMIERES SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15 AT 10 PM ET/ 11 PM PT

New York, NY – November 2, 2009 - BIO presents “Three Foot Giant,” a one-hour special profiling 30-year-old Sean Stephenson who, at three feet tall and permanently confined to a wheelchair, defies the odds every day and changes people’s lives with his unique “anything is possible” philosophy. Premiering on Sunday, November 15 at 7:00pm and 11:00pm PT/10:00pm ET., “Three Foot Giant” follows Stephenson as he prepares to throw out the first-pitch at a Chicago White Sox game, practices intense one-on-one therapy with a client and goes out on a first date.

Born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a rare disorder causing extremely fragile bones, Stephenson was not expected to live through his first night. Undeterred by his physical limitations, Stephenson faces his life with optimism and enthusiasm. A motivational speaker, self-help guru, published author, and current doctoral degree candidate, Stephenson is also a board certified therapist who practices a breakthrough technique called “Full Immersion,” which features a 12-hour one-on-one therapy process. Despite his accomplishments, every day presents unbelievable physical challenges and dangers for Stephenson and he requires assistance with the simplest activities. Luckily he has a lot of support from his loving parents and sister whom he lives with and a group of loyal, upbeat friends.

I am so excited about this I can't even tell you!

Here's the thing though...

We need a huge segment of the population to tune in to my show that night.

So... I am humbly asking for your help.

As you know, it is my mission to rid the world of insecurities and self-sabotage and I think this show is exactly what I need to make this a reality.

If you feel like my message is important and something that the world NEEDS to hear, please help me spread my message.

Send your family, friends, co-workers, the link to this blog post.

With your help, my message can reach thousands (maybe even millions)!

I would be eternally grateful if you joined me on my mission.

Thanks for your help,

Sean

P.S. Remember, the show airs Sunday, November 15 at 7:00pm and 11:00pm PT/10:00pm ET. Mark your calendars!

This little piece of advice will radically alter your life.

I know, because it changed mine.

Listen to my story below:

Click here to view the embedded video.

Several years ago I was raced to the ER at 3:00am in excruciating pain in my lower back. I was in so much pain that I thought I was dying.

While awaiting the Doctor to come in, I decided to do something that drastically altered the course of my life.

I found a napkin and a pen and wrote down a list of life goals. Now, I should mention that these goals weren't small by any means. They are massive goals. Things I wasn't even sure I could ever do!

I started writing and didn't stop until I made a list of about 32 things I knew I HAD to achieve in my life time.

It was then that I made a promise. I said, "God, if you let me live through this, I promise to complete everything on I wrote on this list."

Luckily, I survived that day and since have completed a number of goals on that list.

I have thrown the first pitch at a Chicago Whitesox game (you can watch that video here), wrote a book (my first book "Get Off Your 'But'" was published earlier this year), scuba-dived, went back- packing through Egypt with my closest friends, went on a date with Natalie Portman (ok, that hasn't happened yet but it will) and this October I have the chance to speak at an event with the Dalai Lama!

Want to know the best part?

I am having the time of my life I know it's no where near over yet!

Now, what I want YOU to do is pull out a piece of paper and a pen and create your own bucket list of all the things you've ever wanted to experience or have in your life. You know you're on the right track when what you write down makes your heart pound with excitement and a little bit of fear.

You don't have to wait until you are in the hospital at 3:00am to do this. Do it right now. Start doing things that make you feel alive, that draw you towards your future.

Show your bucket list to as many people as possible. You never know what opportunities will arise.

Please share your bucket list with me in the comments section below.

I would love to hear from you.

Sean

PS - If you want to learn more about my speaking engagement with the Dalai Lama, go here.
