This video is about something we all do:

We are in denial about certain things in our lives, and we deny that we're going through them because it's easier to put them off in our mind. We say things like "I'll get around to that later, or that's not that bad, not that big of a deal."

Denial is a dangerous thing.

*Warning*: I'm going to really push on you in this video... no more Mr. Nice Guy

What I want you to do is get real, sit down after this video, and write out in a journal entry: What are you in denial about? Then share what you wrote down in the comment box below.

Be well,

Sean

P.S. The more you get real with your truths, the easier life becomes.

When we think of forgiveness, we tend to conjure up images of priests in confessionals, or begging our parents, friends, or others for forgiveness for our wrongdoings.

We turn to others to grant us forgiveness for our mistakes. I'm going to challenge you right now and say that forgiveness can also be for yourself. So often we look outwards to heal ourselves when really you can give yourself the gift of forgiveness.

Click here to view the embedded video.

We're all human. We all make mistakes and sometimes we end up hurting others, or ourselves, unintentionally. Yet we need to learn to forgive and not let our pain weigh us down and burden us from living the life we deserve.

Love yourself — accept yourself — forgive yourself — and be good to yourself, because without you the rest of us are without a source of many wonderful things."
- Leo F. Buscaglia

I challenge you to make a list of 3-5 things that you're really hard on yourself about or that you're really not letting go of and forgive yourself for them. By doing so I can guarantee that you will begin to be more at peace with yourself and others and open yourself up to the life and love that is rightfully yours.

Peace and Love,

Sean

P.S. On a slightly less serious note, I'm thrilled to share with you the new blog redesign that we just rolled out. Would love to hear your thoughts about it!
