Drop the Drama

Are you making things in your life more dramatic than they need to be?

Everytime you make something into a major production with drama, you pay the consequences.

We all could live happier, healthier lives if we just drained the drama out of our circumstances.

P.S. Are you creating unnecessary drama in your life? Remember to be rational :-)

    Hi Sean,

I just finished your book Get Off Your But (I've been reading a heap of self-help books lately), and I found it really great. A lot of the stuff just seemed such common sense, but it really helps to see it laid out like that. I probably won't make any major changes to my life though, but the section on how people you hate control your life really hit the nail on the head for me. It seems my life has become consumed by the two people I hate most, my father, and a co-worker. So I am going to try and claw my life back from them.

I wish you had of been my psychologist instead of the bloke I spoke to, one hour with him and I left in tears, left my money under his door in the middle of the night, and never went back. I figure if I could beat sociophobia, which was so bad I had stomach pains everyday for three years, I can handle depression and suicidal thoughts, with a little inspiration from great books like yours. I will also definitely add your blog to my bookmarks.

Too bad you are in US, I would love to hear you speak, your writing is very friendly and gentle. Will definitely search out more of your work. Keep up the great work you are doing!

    Dear Sean,

I just wanted to let you know how great I think you are. It is amazing how one can find interesting and very special people in his life. I've also been following you for some time. But specially today I wasn't feeling very good, so something told me you would cheer up my day (night I might say). So to keep this short, all I mean is thank you very much. It is because of people like you that I smile and keep going on. You and many others do make this world a better place to live. I wish you the best, man. You definitely are on my team.

    Hey Sean!
My Name is Morten, I am from Norway, an I have been following your work for some time. You really inspire me! ALOT!

Great little video! It is so easy to get caught up in all the small drama-things and gossip flying around. So it is very helpful to have someone remind us that it is not worth the while. Gossip is like a drug. Some people get addicted to it, and it give like a rushing feeling i believe. Maybe thats why they continue.

I'm gonna shoot a question, because I have nothing to loose. Do you want to come to Norway in September and do a talk in front of 500-1000 people? I am setting up a conference where all the profits will go to children in Tanzania. (My mom actually lives on Zanzibar outside of Tanzania, so I wanna help the community down there to be able to go to school).

    Best Regards,
    Morten Hake
