You might all remember the blog post I did a couple months ago about the Engage Today event I spoke at in Calgary. Well turns out, my good buddy, Greg Habstritt, has fired up a video clip from my talk and I’d love to share it with all of you.
You can see the video here: http://www.EngageToday2009.com
FYI: You will be asked to enter your email address in order to view the videos but I promise you that Greg’s a great guy and you’ll also get access to several other awesome videos from the Engage Today event.
I’ll try not to spoil it for you but to what you’ll see in the video is me addressing the incredible power of vision and how you can use it to overcome any obstacle in your life.

On Stage at Engage Today
How many of you have ever had a dream? A burning desire for something that you wanted more than anything and felt you would stop at nothing to get it?
Then one day you woke up, took a look around and realized that you were nowhere near that vision. Am I right? There’s no need to feel ashamed about it, we’ve all been there more often then we’d like to admit; I know I certainly have.
Look, we all have distractions. We all have obstacles that will get in our way, slow us down, and try to pull us off track. These are nothing more than our B-U-T’s trying to suffocate us from our greatness and force us to play small in our lives.
What we often fail to realize is that pain is inevitable. As frustrating as it may seem at the time, there is a purpose to our pain and once we accept that, we free ourselves to control our destiny and live up to our potential.
“Every decision you make — every decision — is not a decision about what to do. It’s a decision about Who You Are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do.“
– Neale Donald Walsch
So Who are You? What did you come here to do? What impact are you going to make on the human race and how will the planet be different from having known you?
Okay, okay. I realize those are big bold questions but just let your imagination run wild and see what you come up with… I promise you’ll be surprised!
Peace & Love,
Sean
P.S. Please leave your comments below and share your vision with me! I’d so love to know — and just imagine the collective impact we can have when we all awaken to the beauty of our dreams.

Hey Sean,
Great post! I love how when you manifest a vision for your future, all this wonderful stuff starts happening in your life, even if is doesn’t relate exactly to the vision. But I’ve followed one vision for my life, just starting to live my dream of being a nomad world traveler, and now I’m working on manifesting and acting on the second part of my vision. My desire for myself is to see the world and be free to use my time for personal developement, but my vision for the world is to empower people to create their own solutions and take power into their own hands when it comes to the world problems. I think the internet is an incredible medium for this goal, so I’m using the creative energy of the universe to develop my ideas and follow that voice that will lead to the right actions. A main goal that I want to have for my life is to create something in the world that teaches, empowers and opens up the worlds poor to the concept of owning your reality and teaching the individual mind, in desperate situations, that they have control over their reality. I know this is a touchy subject, because many would argue that their situation is dire, and all the positive intentions in the world won’t get them fresh water, or enough food, but I truly believe in my heart that the Law of Attraction applies to every mind of the world, and there is a solution in empowering the worlds poor with positive energy and creative understanding. It may be an uphill battle, but it’s something I know that’s worth fighting for. Much love Sean and keep feeding me those important life questions, I really appreciate it man.
Peace,
Brandon
Where can i get your book?
Hi Samantha!
You can get Sean’s book on Amazon here or on Audible here
Enjoy!
Alex
I actually have three visions:
1) To help people better their English so these people can communicate more effectively. You do not know how many times I get email messages that are poorly written.
2) To help people, who smoke, to stop so they can live longer and enjoy life to the fullest.
3) To be a famous screenwriter.
As you can see, I have many passions in my life and work at each one everyday. My main goal is not just to entertain others, but to help others better themselves.
Dear Sean, As I wrote you earlier seeing you and listening to your voice from you lecture off course,I feel like seeing God himself and telling me to follow my Dreams which I cannot even think about it.I can see God inside you. I have my Vision and time to time just like flash light it coming back again and again.I don’t know how others think about feeling helpless but I do Know how I feel about it.I feel so helpless and this helpless feeling is killing me and keeping me a big wall from my vision.I believe that Universe has something for me and Everything happened for a Reason.I have been asking to myself this questions,“Why I am on this planet,What is my purpose to be here ? I’m going to be 50 in July and I’m still asking the same question again and again.I love to watch your video“Love not War”,it’s amazing and make me laugh too.Thank you from bottom of my heart and I love you just the way I love my son and knowing you is blessing.God bless you, protect you, nurture you and keep you as happy as you are.Love and blessings.
Dear Sean, Thank you and love to read your blog and thank you for those videos of “How to Create deep Attraction”.They are amazing not only the lecture also how you express it. I like to read your book too.Right now I’m reading“THE 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE, by Stephen R. Covey. It’s amazing. Thanks for your mail, you have taught me an important lesson about life and I will share it with everyone I know.God bless you always and let him use you to bring peace to the world. Love you and always will.
One of the things I really want to accomplish is to be more like you when I grow up. (BTW I’m old enough to be your mother lol) You inspire and impress me so much just by being you. Thank you for choosing, everyday, to be such a wonderful person and may you have many, many more blessings in gratitude for you sharing your happiness for the world to see.
Hi Sean,
I was wondering about your book.
Does it contain actual practical methods I can learn or is it more a motivational speech/story type book?
I ask because I seem to be someone who prefers to learn and try out new methods to see if it helps for me, and if it does I usually integrate it until it becomes a new behavior in my life.
Motivational speeches seem to inspire me but only temporarily motivate me usually, unless they give me a new ‘aha’ understanding or way of thinking about something.
Perhaps its a bit of both.
Hope you can clarify this,
Best regards,
Richard.
My vision is to help others with their every day life in showing them that have control of their own life and don’t have to settle for anything other than what they feel they deserve and to those who don’t feel like they deserve much, show them that they too have the “RIGHT” to enjoy life to its fullest.
We all have a limitless potential but it’s so easy to get bogged down in day-to-day details if we are not careful and waste our energy on things that really don’t matter. “Buts” can certainly be suffocating, leading to a spiral of negative thinking and demoralization.
As a writer, my burning desire is to write to the best of my ability and to continue to grow as a person as well as help others. The journey is always the fun part!
Although as time goes on I feel this is more and more cliche, but I want to change the world. I want to make an impact on this world for the better. I want to help myself, but even more, help others.
I am not where I want to be, but I like to write, i like dealing with people, i love to travel, I believe that God is guiding me to the right place, and I am still looking. I don’t know what exactly it is I am here to do, but I am here to make a difference.
I came here to make art and beauty out of how I live my life and inspire others to live true to their dreams. I am here to tell people & show them how they can become their own leader and expert. I came here to ask them questions that help them find their own answers, and truth..
Great post, very inspiring, thank you.
